At Worple we follow the Switched On Computing scheme of work. Children are taught basic programming skills, mainly through 'Scratch', word processing and presentation skills and have the opportunity to use our mobile devices to enhance their learning on a daily basis.
We will be re-launching our digital leaders' scheme, whereby children can apply to attend a lunch time club which offers opportunities to increase their knowledge of various APPS and improve their programming skills. These children are then able to support their peers in lessons.
This year also sees the launch of the C8 'Scratch' competition.
We strive and collaborate in order to succeed and improve
...for our commitment to competition, school sport and PE...
...for children to develop good speech, language and communication skills.
"...to improve standards, raise achievement and enrich children's educational experiences."
A high level of participation and engagement in active travel across the whole school community.
